Polynucleotides

A next-generation skin treatment that works with your own biology — encouraging the skin to rebuild collagen and elastin from within for genuine quality, hydration and glow. This is skin health, not volume.

  • Dull, tired-looking skin
  • Loss of firmness and elasticity
  • Fine lines around eyes and mouth
  • Dehydrated, rough texture
  • Crepey skin on neck, hands or décolleté

Polynucleotides

What it is

Polynucleotides are a biostimulating skin booster that work differently to filler — instead of adding volume, they prompt your skin to do its own repair work. They stimulate the natural production of collagen and elastin and improve the skin’s ability to hold moisture, which over time means firmer, more hydrated, better-quality skin. It is one of my favourite treatments for anyone who wants to look well rather than ‘done’.

How it works

Delivered through tiny injections across the treatment area, polynucleotides gently rejuvenate the skin from within, smoothing fine lines, improving tone and texture and restoring a natural radiance. Because they work biologically, the improvement is progressive rather than instant. They aren’t limited to the face either — the neck, décolleté, hands and scalp respond beautifully. Individual results vary.

What to expect

Treatment is quick, with only minor discomfort and small temporary marks where the injections are placed. For the best outcome, polynucleotides are usually done as a short course of sessions a few weeks apart, with results building gradually as the skin regenerates. The glow and quality improvement is long-lasting, and we agree a simple maintenance rhythm to keep it.

  • Best results come from a short course rather than a single session
  • Tiny injection marks settle within a day or two
  • Avoid makeup, heat and intense exercise for the first 24 hours
  • Improvement is progressive — skin keeps building over the weeks following

Good to know

Common questions

How are polynucleotides different from filler?

Filler adds volume; polynucleotides improve the quality of the skin itself by stimulating your own collagen and elastin. They are about healthier, firmer, more hydrated skin rather than reshaping the face. Individual results vary.

How many sessions will I need?

Usually a short initial course spaced a few weeks apart, as the results build progressively. We plan the exact number together at consultation based on your skin and your goals.

Where can it be used?

Beyond the face, it works well on areas that often show age — the neck, décolleté, hands and scalp. We decide together what’s right for you.

When will I see results?

Because it works with your own biology, the improvement is gradual rather than immediate, developing over the weeks after treatment and lasting well with simple maintenance.
