As we age, we develop fine lines and wrinkles particularly around the eyes and mouth. The skin on the face loses its collagen and elastin which gives the skin it’s ‘firmness’ as well as a reduction in hyaluronic acid levels causing it to dehydrate.

WOW Fusion

WOW fusion is an innovative needling device that allows the practitioner to create bespoke skincare cocktails in the little glass vial that is ideal for your skin care needs. A truly tailored signature service.

The needle head contains 20 titanium 24K gold plated needles each being 0.13mm in diameter. As they are so thin, they make a small trauma without the pain. They also have a small spiral groove on the outside of the needle that allows product to flow down and into the skin to the epidermal/dermal junction.

Chemical Peels

Chemical Peels: There are different types and levels of peel available. The Most popular ones we offer comes from a range of light peels sometimes referred to as “lunch time peels”. Different types of chemical peel are used to treat different skin complaints such as ache, pigmentation and fine lines and wrinkles.

Our most popular peels brands are from PCA, WOW PEELS and Neo Strata, ranges including;  a basic Enzyme peel, or  Glycolic, Salycilic and Mandelic acid peel which have very light and has little or no “downtime”, to stronger retinol peels where you will see some flaking in return for good skin firming and retexturing results. The peels help increase the skins cell turnover and promote collagen production.

We are also seeing great results from our ZO professional skincare regiemes and specific peel courses which focus on either acne, pigment or fine lines.

An antioxidant and Sunscreen must be used after the peel to maintain lasting results and to get the best from your skin a bespoke skincare analysis and full range of products are also available .

Our lighter peels can also be combined with a Dermaplaning or micro needling for tired, pollution damaged or dehydrated skin. (For anyone that would just like to be spoilt)

Skin Needling/Dermal roller or Dermapen treatment

The concept of skin needling (also known as Collagen Induction Therapy) is based on the skin’s natural ability to repair itself. The micro-needles penetrate the top layers of the skin and create pin-point injuries in the deeper layers. This triggers the body’s natural wound healing response. As a result, new collagen and elastin is formed to reduce wrinkle depth, increase skin elasticity and improve the appearance of scars and other skin flaws. We also now offer the most advanced Dermapen treatment, which is the newest revelation in skin needling for patient comfort and maximum results.

Dermapen treatment for:

  • lines and wrinkles
  • Lack of skin firmness
  • Scarring
  • Acne and chicken pox scars
  • Enlarged pores
  • Sun damage and pigmentation
  • stretch marks and cellulite
  • Rosacea

Dermaplaning

Dermaplaning is a simple and safe procedure for exfoliating the skin and ridding the face of fine vellus hair (peach fuzz). It has been used for many years and  has recently became popular as a celebrity must have treatment.

Dermaplaning  is a simple physical exfoliation of the epidermis using a scalpel. The practitioner simply abrades the surface of the skin using light feathering strokes.

This is a great treatment to offer to patients who are pregnant or nursing who want a deep exfoliation, but are not allowed to use peeling agents on their skin. It is also a first choice for patients who have excess vellus hair on the skin. This hair often causes a buildup of dirt and oils in the follicles, so removing the hair gives the patient healthier looking skin.

Although merely an old wives’ tale, many patients are often concerned that the hair will grow back heavier and darker after dermaplaning. This is not the case. As long as the hair is superficial vellus hair, it will grow back at the same rate and texture as before the treatment.

Removing epidermal skin also allows products to penetrate more readily into the deeper layers so this treatment is a great way to prepare the skin  for superficial chemical peels or before a cleansing facial.

Dermaplaning is  a great treatment for patients with rough, dry skin, mild acne scarring, or fine lines and wrinkles. The treatment results in a more refined, smooth, “glowing” appearance.

This treatment can also be combined with one of our enzyme or light chemical peels or skin needing treatments.
